Dear "Democrat First" Daschle:

While you Democrats, with Tom Daschle in the lead, fiddle away AMERICA'S SECURITY with your political games, the TERRORISTS are gaining more time to DESTROY US.

In 1998 under Bill Clinton you were all ready to go ahead FULL STEAM with his leadership and NO HOLDS BARRED. The only problem was (tap, tap, tap) ...he didn't do anything but FOOL AROUND WITH MONICA.

Now you will have egg on your face when the facts are all brought to light and believe me everyone will hear about it. Even Tim Russert on Meet the Press has exposed you.

In case you are interested Mr. Daschle, no one elected you as an obstructionist.  You are OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE in handling the terrorists. You are also OBSTRUCTING the Justice Department from prosecuting cases because you are blocking excellent judicial appointments. LOW DOWN DIRTY POLITICS. The Usual Democrat way.

America is at risk. With you at the helm, so is all that we hold dear.

Sincerely,
Betty

Does the remaining leadership of al-Qaida regret the attacks they launched a year ago? The dead ones can regret nothing, of course, and the scum-on-the-run thump their chests via videotape, but in their quiet moments inside this hovel or that cave, do you suppose they ask themselves: "What were we thinking?"

Daschle Says Bush Must Answer Questions on Iraqi 'Threat'
By Jeff Johnson
CNSNews.com Congressional Bureau Chief
September 04, 2002

Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com)
- Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) said Wednesday that he has a number of questions about the Bush administration's alleged justification for a possible U.S. military strike against Iraq.

"What new information exists? What threat can be quantified? What has changed in recent months or years? What will be the reaction of our allies? How much will it cost? If we change regimes, who will be in the new regime, and has that been thought through?" Daschle asked.

Until that happens, Daschle warned, Bush cannot expect the support of Democrats in the Senate. Full Story
