Some journalist? You are NOT. What a KISS UP TO A MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who cares if you see SADAM again? Why didn't you kiss him or shed tears since you were so sad. I say SADAM is Wanted DEAD OR ALIVE by his OWN PEOPLE.

You tried to put AMERICA on the spot and make our WONDERFUL PRESIDENT and AMERICA LOOK BAD as you INTERVIEWED(?) that JACKASS.

You did NOT ask ONE HARD QUESTION. I could do better than that and I am not a journalist (but neither are you ANYMORE) In 25 years I will be 100 and I keep up on what that EVIL MAN does better than you.

I wasn't going to watch your INTERVIEW(?) BUT RUSH SAID HE WAS GOING TO SO I DID. I GOT A REAL GOOD LAUGH and got the REAL TAKE ON WHAT WENT ON AT THE "PALACE."

Dan Rather's big interview with Saddam Hussein Wednesday night was not an exercise in social responsibility. It was a commercial opportunity, no more dignified than Martin Bashir exploiting Michael Jackson.

It didn't put the American people first. It put Dan Rather first. On last night's shows alone, Rather was softer than ABC's Barbara Walters was with Robert Blake and CBS's Troy Roberts was with "preppy killer" Robert Chambers. These men were at worst small-time killers. Saddam Hussein is a mass murderer, a man who has children killed in front of their parents as a torture tactic. Rather called him "President Hussein" and "Mr. President," and sat cooperatively as he declared that he had won 100 percent of the last election. "100 percent," Rather repeated, with a tone that sounded like "you don't say." Continued

Rather scored a coup in the journalistic world by getting the sit-down with Saddam. Peter Jennings and Tom Brokaw gave their congratulations. Unfortunately, what Rather got had less to do with journalism than Iraqi propaganda. Continue
